Some creative force.
I simply was looking and captured the image.
During the summer of 2012 I was touring the Southwest Parks. When I came home I created a photo book of images from that trip.
One day at the San Gabrial river in Georgetown Texas I was playing with bracketing photo shots. Rapidly moving water after a flood is not my usual target for that.
How do you like this result?
Somehow when I look at this image, I feel like it has captured and reflects my life.
As a teenager I spent an entire hot Texas summer cutting and burning cactus that wanted to overgrow paths in our pasture.
You can imagine cactus is not my favorite plant to come close to and photograph!
Nature does have a beauty that even ants are attacted to. I was attracted to the yellow catus flower. I had to get closer for the ant to show up.

My taking photographs has been a lifelong pleasure. This 19 year old "cowboy" is not merely an image or pose.
My first real love was Thomas James Michael Burchell III. He was seeing me off at the railroad station.
Few in Abingdon, Maryland would recognize this Texas "boy". Actually quite a young man.
